A ride through the hills above Gudauri that ends at Gudauri Lake — a quiet spot high in the mountains and the best photo stop on the route.

You start at the Georgian-Russian Friendship Monument and climb the trails from there, with a new view of the Caucasus around almost every turn.

Because of the altitude, snow survives in places here all year round, so there is a good chance of touching snow and photographing snow-capped peaks whatever month you visit.
