Mount Kazbek (5047 m) is the third highest mountain in the country and one of the tallest of the Caucasus. You can have a direct view of its summit from the town of Stepantsminda.Climbing this beautiful perpetually snow-covered peak of the Caucasus is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
Day 1: Drive to trinity church with car (2100m), walk to Betlemi hut, at 3700 m. (6-8 hours). Night in Betlemi hut.
Day 2: acclimatisation at 4000 m.
Day 3: Summit day (9-12 hours).
Day 4: Walk to Stepantsminda
